Mapping and change detection in a forest

Fast mapping of tunnel walls

This video demonstrates the precision and level of detail of the rock wall. The yellow line is a pose estimation of the moving platform calculated from the point clouds.

Indoor drone mapping

This video demonstrates the lightweight drone platform moving and mapping in an indoor space. A complete 3D model of the area is compiled by stitching the point clouds together.

Detecting vital signs remotely

PictM®’s speckle imaging-based modality detects living objects from a distance. PictM® generates a millimeter-accurate 3D model of the human body and detects movements with magnitudes on the order of a few tens of micrometers, even with clothes on. In this demo, a person is sitting on a bench and holding their breath. Breathing and heartbeats are detected separately.
